I learned something new today. Capsicum can lower blood sugar levels.
This is good news indeed for a person, such as myself, who has been diagnosed as pre-diabetic.
I love spicy foods but there is a limit as to how much spicy food I can take. I do not like very spicy foods, but the good news is capsicum is available as a food supplement! Wonderful!
Capsicum is also known to relieve rheumatoid arthritis, prevent blood clots and strokes, heal stomach ulcers, and lower cholesterol and reduce risk of heart disease.
Guess what's going into my shopping cart when next I go shopping at my favorite food supplement store? :-)
